Caldera de Taburiente


This walk leads us through the Caldera de Taburiente,
one of the largest erosion crater's of the earth,
with approximately 9500m in diameter and nearly 2000m depth.
Starting is in Los Brecitos, height above on 1030m.
We hike slightly downwards to the campground.
Walking in the footsteps of Tanausú, the last king of the aborigines
through the Barranco de Angustias, the Valley of the fears.
The highlight of the Caldera-Tour is a trip to the colorful waterfall,
the Cascada Colorada.
